After speculations that Mariah Carey was pregnant, she and hubby Nick Cannon finally announced that they would be parents to twins. Nick Cannon shared the news on his 92.3 Now radio show Thursday (Dec. 16). The children will be the first of the couple, who married in 2008.
He said, “I haven’t even told my wife I was doing this, so I am probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission… We are having twins!” The couple confirmed the pregnancy on October, but offered a few details about it at the time.
“A recent ultrasound revealed everything is A-OK, both babies are healthy, in tip-top shape. The doctors are extremely happy. We are extremely happy.”
However, we’re not the first people to hear about this. This news was delivered to none other than US President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama. Nick and Mariah shared the news to the US power couple during a Christmas concert at the White House. Nick Cannon told the radio station, “She shared with the President and the First Lady that we are having twins.”
This will probably be worth telling to their kids when they get older!
