Man confesses

There has been a shocking development in solving the shooting of West Coast rapper Tupac Shakur in 1994. Dexter Isaac, a man already imprisoned for murder, robbery, fraud and witness intimidation charges, has confessed to shooting Tupac. Shakur survived the shooting, but the attack helped fuel the East Coast-West Coast fued which eventually led to the still unsolved murders of Shakur and Notorius B.I.G. Tupac Shakur would have been 40 years old today, June 16. Isaac stated former music mogul Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond, who managed Brandy, Sean Kingston and Akon, put him up to it. Henchman, who is currently on the run from the feds on drug charges, reportedly paid Isaac $2,500 dollars to shoot 2Pac inside Manhattan’s Quad Studios in November of that year. Isaac says he’s sorry. “I want to apologize to his family and for the mistake I did for that sucker Jimmy Henchman. I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie’s] mothers some closure.” Primarily though, he’s coming forward because Rosemond called him a governmant informant a month ago. Isaac also implies Sean “Diddy” Combs knew about Henchman’s plan all along… By Noémie Jamar
