Ludacris is following the footsteps of Dr. Dre, Diddy, and Jay-Z by releasing his very own line of headphones. Ludacris teamed up with Monster to create the “Soul” headphones. The launch party took place in Atlanta last week end. On Sunday (Oct. 3) he tweeted to his fans, “Technology is the future, you gotta have soul.”
The Def Jam Records superstar reportedly has plans to also create an all-in-one home stereo unit that plays CDs, radio, iPods and other MP3 players.
This latest business venture with Monster marks the next big move in the expansions of Luda’s career outside of the rap game. Aside from acting, Luda also owns a restaurant, a non-profit organization, and a brand of cognac called Conjure.
The new headphones will be released early next year.
