Lil Wayne

Wayniacs who haven’t gotten a ticket to Weezy’s “I Am Still Music Tour” will still get the chance to see him on stage. After his New Orleans show last week, Wayne revealed to the press that he has been filming select dates and will compile the footage into a tour documentary. Looks like Mr Carter is following the examples of Jay-Z, who brought out “Backstage” in 2000 and Dr Dre, who released his “Up in the Smoke Tour” in the same year.

Wayne feels his movie is going to have great impact on people. “I just felt like a movie like that hasn’t come out in so long. At that time when they put those movies out, we as the fans were interested in what they were doing on the road. … Nobody hasn’t came around since then that was that interesting other than Young Money. It’s going to be real major; it’s going to be real big, I will eat real nice,” Wayne said on US television.

There is no official release date for the ‘I Am Music II’ tour DVD, but we will surely here about it when the tour will be over…
