“Rebirth,” Lil Wayne’s anticipated rock album has been pushed back… yet again. The record, which after multiple delays was scheduled for a November release, is now said to be hitting stores on December 15th.
“Rebirth” was originally slated to drop in April 2009.
However, Weezy has kept himself busy recently. He just became a father for the third time, actress Lauren London giving birth to a boy on 09/09/09. And with another baby on the way, this time with R&B singer Nivea, expect more Carter family’s news soon!
On the music side, Wayne’s keeps topping charts, thanks to his recent collaboration with Cash Money’s new sensation Jay Sean for the hit single “Down.” Mr. Carter has also been focusing a lot more on Young Money’s development. He recently added Drake and Bow Wow to his label’s roaster, and a compilation album featuring every Young Money artist should drop soon.
Artists such as Nicki Minaj are already generating growing buzz, with her solo debut expected to drop early next year on Young Money.
One way or another, Weezy manages to stays in the limelight!
