Lil Wayne

Good news for all the Lil Wayne fans out there, his one-year sentence has reportedly been cut down by several months! The rapper is now expected to be released from Rikers Island correctional facility (NYC) this November, that is four months earlier than his original release date.

Since March 8, 2010 the Young Money rapper has been serving time at the facility. The reasons behind his apparent early release are because he’s not received any violations or infractions during his time incarcerated.

Earlier this week Lil Wayne released a letter addressing his fans on his website WeezyThanxYou.com :

“Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best,” wrote Lil Wayne. “I never imagined that i could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.”
