Lebron James, the superstar! The NBA season is finally over, and Lebron’s demonstrated the full extent of his talent by winning season and final MVP titles. And when it came to handing out awards for overall accomplishments in the world of sports this year, James yet again walked off with the lion’s share. During ESPN’s ESPY awards, he won best male athlete of the year for his great season with the Miami Heat!
But poor Lebron won’t get a chance to celebrate as he’s currently preparing for the Olympic Games with Team USA. Needless to say, he will once more be vying for the top spot in London.
As for the ladies, the star of the Baylor University Bears basketball team, Brittney Griner, won best female athlete for her performances on NCAA courts this season. Jeremy Lin won the ESPY award for best breakthrough athlete while Lionel Messi won best international athlete of the year.
