Lady Gaga has revealed that she has made all the finishing touches to her new album and that it will be released next year. She plans to reveal the title in typical Lady Gaga style at midnight on this coming New Year’s Eve. She told Rolling Stone: “I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo.”
Gaga teased that this time around, the new material bears an angrier and more political message. She said, “Why are we still talking about ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell?’ It’s like what fu**ing year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes–and now I’m going to back a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.”
The new album will be the singer’s second studio album release in 4 years. Gaga explained, “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel verys strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.”
