Lady Gaga reflects on feud with Madonna in new documentary

These two music powerhouses just don’t know when to quit. While Lady Gaga has cited Madge as a huge inspiration, Madonna has often accused Lady Gaga of copycatting her music.

It all started when when Madonna threw shade at Lady Gaga in an interview with ABC News, remarking that her music felt ‘reductive’, before taking a long, knowing sip from her coffee cup?

Well, in her recently released documentary, Gaga has not forgotten and has finally decided to address the pair’s feud. In her film titled Gaga: Five Foot Two, she admits she’d rather Madonna had told her she was ‘a pice of s**t to he face’, than slating her on television.

Speaking to her friends in a scene from her film, the star explains: ‘The thing with me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always and I still admire her no matter what she might think of me. No, I do. The only thing that really bothers me about her is that I’m Italian and from New York so, like, if I got a problem with somebody, I’m gonna tell you to your face. Get em Gaga !

‘I just want Madonna to f*cking push me up against the wall and kiss me and tell me I’m a piece of sh*t.’

The ‘Bad Romance’ singer first met Madonna in 2009, and the pair seemed to hit it off. But when Madonna was asked what she thought of Gaga during this time, the ‘reductive’ comment was born. Meanwhile, Gaga’s documentary also features her battle against chronic condition fibromyalgia which causes severe muscle pain.
