Lady Gaga shocked gig-goers when she made a surprise appearance in London last night (Dec 15), joining Semi Precious Weapons on stage at the O2 Academy Islington 2 venue.
The singer played the drums while fans danced on stage with the band at the 250-capacity venue.
She joined the group on stage for two songs, causing pandemonium in the boutique concert hall. Many of her female fans stripped down to their underwear in tribute to the singer’s topless appearance, witnesses told the UK paper The Sun.
The pop sensation flew into London ahead of two shows at the much grander O2, which brings in 20,000 people. New York band Semi Precious Weapons have supported Lady Gaga at various arena shows over the past year and are set to open for her when she plays the O2 Arena in the UK capital December 16th.
