On Thursday, January 14th, Lady Gaga fainted just before she was due to perform in Indiana during a stop on her Monster Ball Tour. Not only did Gaga cancel that night’s performance, but she cancelled all performances for the weekend as well.
A statement on her website said the singer collapsed due to exhaustion and dehydration. Gaga, who also had to miss a gay rights charity gala that she planned to attend, is reportedly distraught over the cancellations.
Lady Gaga has been busy with her Monster Ball Tour, which began last year and is due to end in Japan in April this year. It seems her hectic schedule has taken a toll on her body.
On the upside, the “Bad Romance” star will be dedicating January 24, 2010 to helping Haiti by donating all proceeds from sales of merchandise sold off her website to helping Haiti relief aid.
We can only hope that Lady Gaga takes better care of herself.
