Pop star Lady Gaga can add another outrageous outfit to her list. On the cover of next month’s Vogue Magazine in Japan, she posed with nothing but a bikini made entirely of raw red meat. On the cover, you can see slabs of beef dangling over the singer’s body, and a steak sits on top of her head like a hat.
The issue has gained a lot of negative attention from animal-rights groups. “No matter how beautifully it is represented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal,” PETA’s Ingrid Newkirk told the Daily Mail. Has Gaga finally lost it?
The criticism has strained the relationship between Lady Gaga and PETA. The organization praised Gaga last December for setting a faux polar bear coat on fire in her “Bad Romance” video and again in January for adding vegan hot dogs to her tour rider.
But really, has Lady GaGa ever gone too far with an outfit in the past? Maybe, but this one might be one of her worse…
