It’s a boy! Keyshia Cole has given birth to her first child. Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. was born on Tuesday, March 2th, weighing in at 7 lbs., 3 oz. according to eonline.com. Baby Daniel is named after his father, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Daniel “Boobie” Gibson.
Keyshia and Daniel Sr. have been dating publicly for less than a year. The couple is engaged to be married, though an official wedding date has yet to be announced.
Keyshia joins the ranks of new motherhood, which now also includes Christina Milian, who had her first child this past Friday. With a budding family, new album on the way and an acting role in Tyler Perry’s upcoming flick “Why Did I Get Married Too?” Keyshia has a busy year ahead.
