Finally, after keeping us waiting; Keri Hilson’s first album “In A Perfect World…” will hit the stores on March 24th. And she kicks off opening T.I’s tour followed by her own “I am Music” tour in the States.
The release of this highly anticipated debut album was scheduled for September 2008. But after postponing it a few times it is finally ready to be introduced to the public. The album is about relationships, it’s emotive, human and deliberately imperfect. “No human is exempt from the realities of life—heartbreak, love, failure, success—I want my album to convey a sense of reality. That’s the standpoint that lent itself to the title. There will always be something you’d change if only you lived “In A Perfect World…” and I’m no different” said Keri Hilson on her website. The album is written by herself and produced by Polow Da Don and Timbaland, the one who put her in the spotlights since he invited her on his album “Shock Value”, 2 years ago.
