American R&B singer Keri Hilson and Haitian-American producer/rapper Wyclef Jean are set to perform at the Calabar stadium in Nigeria for the Calabar Christmas Carnival. Keri Hilson will hit the stage on Monday, December 21, 2009 and Wyclef Jean will be rocking the same stage on Monday, December 28, 2009.
Both musicians have already been to Africa this year. Keri Hilson was in South Africa in November as a supporting artist for the John Legend South African Tour. Wyclef Jean was the host for the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards held in Nigeria.
Keri Hilson is expected to perform hit songs from her current album “In A Perfect World” and Wyclef Jean, who is well known for hit songs like “Gone Till November,” will have a vast number of songs to choose from for the show on the 28th of December.
The Calabar Christmas Carnival is a fun filled yearly event. The concert is expected to host 50,000 spectators. Nigerian music fans are excited to have these two international artists in their country.
