Looks like Keri Hilson forgot the words to the national anthem last night. The basketball game was Hawks vs. Lakers in Atlanta, USA. Hilson hit center court to perform the pre-game “Star-Spangled Banner” when she started a line with the wrong the lyrics. Of course, as a true performer Hilson played it off, corrected herself and finished strongly through the recognizable mistake.
After the game, Hilson tweeted, “Well, it happened to Aretha and the best of em!” Hilson said she was distracted by bad sound, which caused her to flub the words to the national anthem. Was it really bad sound or did her nerves get the best of her? Either way, we all can agree that Keri Hilson has great vocals. She also tweeted, “Now I’m at dinner getting teased. LOL, I must be with family otherwise I’d be going off at this mugggggg!”
Celebrities like Monica, T.I., Bobby Valentino, and Young Jeezy also attended the game in Atlanta.
