Keri Hilson was in South Africa in October 2009 on tour with John Legend. It was Keri’s first time in Africa and she wowed crowds with hits from her latest album “In A Perfect World.”
Keri Hilson has been invited back to South Africa to perform at the inaugural Nelson Mandela Bay International Music Festival. Set to take place from December 18th –20th 2009 in Port Elizabeth at the world cup stadium as a build up event to the 2010 Fifa world Cup, the three-day event promises to showcase an array of different music genres ranging from RnB, hip hop to jazz.
The talented Keri Hilson will open the event on the 18th and will be followed up by South African urban artists such as hip hop Panstula (HHP) and Jozi.
The second day of the event will see top South African DJs battle it out to entertain the crowds with house and dance music.
On the final day, international jazz artists such as Christian Scott (USA) Lizz Wright (USA), Norman Brown (USA) and Hugh Masekela (South Africa) will take the stage.
The Nelson Mandela Bay International Music Festival is a must see for pure enjoyment of music in this festive season.
