If the rumor is true, congratulations are in order for Kendrick Lamar ! The good kid from the maad city is said to be getting married with Whitney Alford, his high school sweatheart of 10 years! The latter has been spotted wearing a massive ring and it is enough to believe that the two have decided to tie the knot.
Kendrick, who has just released his new albumTo Pimp a Butterfly, recently opened up to Billboard about his relationship with Whitney: “I wouldn’t even call her my girl, that’s my best friend. I don’t even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion — she’s somebody I can tell my fears to,” revealed the rapper.
While he is known for being very reserved about his private life, Whitney as always been by his side whether it was during public events, basketball games, and even the studio. She is credited twice for providing background vocals on Lamar’s new album.
