More than 87,000 music fans in England have signed a petition to remove Kanye West from the line up of the Glastonbury Festival set to start next June. These tens of thousands of people said that the rapper had nothing to do with the festival. It’s Neil Lonsdale who put the petition online through the website Change.org. He said the interpreter of “All Day” is an “insult to music fans all over the world“, and should not participate to this kind of festival.“Kanye has been very outspoken on his views on music,” Lonsdale wrote. “He should listen to his own advice and pass his headline slot on to someone deserving. Thus, it doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, straight, gay. If you behave like Kanye, you’ve got to expect some opposition”.Neil added that booking the rapper as a headline act is a “musical injustice” and that producers should replace him with a rock band. Many people agreed with the message since his petition attracted the signature of 87,000 people out of a total of 150 000. A number that will increase because of media that are spreading the news all over the internet. On the petition, you can read some comments from those who have signed it.“Kanye sucks. I want to see real artistry. Someone like Beck”“kanye West in a cunt!”“He is the cum at top of the ladder”“The mab has no morals and has no talent”Do you think Kanye is a victim of his own success?
