Kanye West’s album cover for “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” has caused controversy for its illicit image. Due to the artwork, the cover was officially banned in the U.S. Ever since hearing the news, Kanye West has been furious and took his case on twitter. His album cover featured him nude on the coach with a bottle while a naked winged woman straddles him.
The rapper tweeted his anger and said that it’s unfair that his artwork for the new album was banned. He also stated that it wasn’t a problem back in the 70s when album covers used to contain nudity.
He tweeted, “Yoooo they banned my album cover!!!!! Ima tweet it in a few …” adding a short while later, “Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!”
“In the ’70s album covers had actual nudity … It’s so funny that people forget that … Everything has been so commercialized now,” he complained.
For now, Kanye’s album cover is yet to be determined. His album drops in stores November 22.
