For every 10 bad decisions Kanye West makes, there seems to always be at least one good one. This would have to be one of them. Earlier this week, the hip-hop superstar preformed acapella at the social networking site Facebook’s headquarters in California. Kanye, wearing a toned down suit for his usual loud style, gave Facebook employees an exclusive listen to verses from tracks on his upcoming album. -By the way, Kanye now has an official Twitter (@kanyewest)! And in even bigger news, he has taken to his new account to let people know his album will no longer be titled “Good Ass Job” and that he is bouncing around new ideas.-
After the performance, Kanye took to his blog to voice how he felt about the performance:
“Many times in life I’ve had to deal with moments of doubt. And as it’s been a minute since I’ve performed any fresh material in front of an audience, this could’ve been one of those moments… but it wasn’t. Your energy was a gift so electric, so genuine, that it really helped me give my best. The energy was so inspiring I had to keep going! I just hope you got as much from me as I got from you…which was everything!
Love to all my fans, especially at Facebook.”
Check out the video from the performance below. Kanye West’s album is due out this September.
