Teen star Justin Bieber made news Monday, February 21st, with his hairstyle change. The next day he tweeted that he was auctioning his famous locks to raise money for charity.
“Yeah it’s true…i got a lil haircut…i like it…and we are giving all the Hair for Charity to auction,” he tweeted.
Bieber explained to TMZ that even though he was nervous, he cut his hair because he wanted to “change it up” and look “mature.” The actual cutting was done by his hairdresser Vanessa.
Though details of the auction were not made clear, it was reported that Bieber’s hair was distributed among multiple organizations.
