Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has brought plenty of cheer to hundreds of thousands of his teen fans. Now it was time to do the same to the sick children of Atlanta.

Celebrity-Gossip.net reported that Bieber teamed up with local radio station Q100 to help Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta while on tour in Georgia. To keep in the holiday spirit, they wanted to collect toys for the kids at the center and they did it in a novel way.

Bieber used his tour bus parked in front of Philips Arena as a substitute for Santa’s sleigh and used the radio station to drum up publicity for a ‘Stuff Bieber’s Bus’ stunt.

Within hours, the bus began to fill up with toys for the ailing children, helped by the radio station’s on air promotions and Bieber’s own publicity juggernaut: his Twitter account.

He tweeted: “Every child deserves a toy this holiday season. Let’s make sure these kids in the hospitals have a smile on their face.”

As for his take on the typical toy drive -packing a bus full of gifts- Bieber explained that the type of charity you choose isn’t as important as actually giving back. “I think that it doesn’t really matter what you do,” he said. “As long as you’re helping other people, why not do it?”
