Jonah Lomu’s health is rather preoccupying. The New Zealand rugby legend announced that he was waiting for a donor to undergo a kidney transplant.
His health started slipping in September last year, during the Rugby world cup when he spent two weeks in hospital. His state of health has unfortunately not improved since. He says he has lost 66 pounds. The first rugby player to attain international stardom remains very pessimistic concerning his chances of getting a transplant.
Bad news for the former player who already underwent a kidney transplant in 2004.
