Vocal artist Jennifer Hudson finally announced the release of her second album.
Hudson will release her long-awaited album, titled “I Remember Me,” through Arista Records. The first single called “Where You At,” was written and produced by artist R. Kelly, and first aired on radio stations on January 24.
“I’m excited about this album because it’s almost like a renewal for me, reflected through the chapters of my life,” Hudson said in a statement. “My fans have been so loyal, I feel like they have been on this journey with me and I can’t wait for them to hear the new album.”
Hudson explained her choice for the title. “I’ve called it ‘I Remember Me’ because of the journey I’ve been on,” she said.
Hudson had the help of quite a few artists, like OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, who appears on the album. Other writers include Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo, and Stargate.
This album is a follow-up to Hudson’s 2008 self-titled debut album. “I Remember Me” will be available on March 22.
