Just weeks after announcing the end of their 6-year relationship, Janet Jackson has rekindled her romance with producer Jermaine Dupri: the pair is reportedly preparing their wedding! The two lovebirds have finally decided to marry at an intimate ceremony, which would certainly reunite all the Jackson family.
So seriously, what’s going on in Janet’s mind? Not so long ago, she made it very clear she was not interested in life commitment. She even voiced her opinion very clearly with bold statements like “maybe marriage is not for me!” Janet also went through a self-confidence crisis and put herself in question, hinting in an interview that it was maybe her fault if she had so much trouble with love… Indeed, the R&B singer has already been married twice and each time it was a failure. But this time, it seems like Janet knows what she’s doing! At least she thinks so. She is reportedly in full preparation for the ceremony and she has even already found her dress, which will be created by the famous designer Badgley Mischka.
The couple began dating in 2002, after they worked together on Janet’s “Someone To Call My Lover” remix. But last summer, rumors of a split started to spark when Dupri was noticeably absent from his girlfriend’s side as she mourned the loss of her brother Michael Jackson at the public memorial. Later, the R&B superstar confirmed she had parted ways with Dupri in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, adding that she has not been on a date since their split.
Anyway, this is already history! Jackson and Dupri now appear to have settled their differences: the couple was spotted together in Milan late September attending a party with fashion designer Donatella Versace, and a month after talks about the wedding began to surface.
