The hit single of Jamie Foxx ft. T- Pain ‘Blame It’ recently broke TLC’s record with ‘No Scrubs’ (1999) for the longest period spent at the top of the “Rhythmic Urban” chart. To date, no other artist has had more than 12 weeks at #1 than Jamie Foxx.
The single is the third from the 2008 platinum-selling album “Intuition,” which climbs up to the #17 position on the Top 200 Albums chart and #6 on the R&B Albums chart. The increase in album sales was sparked by massive airplay and TV performances on American Idol, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Tyra Banks, along with appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Regis & Kelly and BET’s 106 & Park to promote his current film “The Soloist” and his hit album.
Jamie Foxx combines his successful singing and acting career perfectly. He just announced that he would be playing the role of Frank Sinatra in a biopic being made on the late singing legend that died 11 years ago.
Earlier George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harry Connick Jr. and Justin Timberlake were in contention for the role. But the African-American actor was finalized to play Sinatra.
