The London Games are fast approaching and rumours about the opening ceremony are starting to surface. The latest one has Queen Elizabeth II playing her own role in a short film screened during the event. In it, The Queen gives James Bond a very special assignment.
The movie was reportedly directed by Danny Boyle, of Slumdog Millionaire fame, and should see Daniel Craig star in the role of the famous British spy. Boyle is said to have gained unprecedented access to Buckingham Palace to shoot scenes for the film. At the end of the short film, 007 apparently leaves Buckingham Palace in a helicopter! The screening is then be followed by Daniel Craig’s arrival in the stadium on board this very same helicopter to open the event.
