Jaheim

R&B crooner Jaheim just kicked off the New Year with the release of his highly- anticipated album “Another Round,” led by the single “Ain’t Leavin’ Without You.” The song which (sample of De La Soul’s hit single, “Ring Ring Ring) so far peaked at #12 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #93 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Finding My Way Back” the second single was released on January 22. The album, released on February 9th took the #3 position in the US charts, selling more than 115,000 units in one week.

Sporting a new braid less look, Jaheim described, his latest effort “Another Round” as the “next piece of the puzzle” that continued in the footstep of his last album “The Makings Of A Man” which was released in 2007 and featured a collaboration with R&B singer Keyshia Cole on the ballad “I’ve Changed.”

In 2000 Jaheim signed to former Naughty By Nature beat man Kay Gee’s Devine Mill Records. A year later his debut album, “Ghetto Love” which featured the hit singles “Could It Be,” and “Just In Case” was released, the album was such a success that it sold over 1,000,000 copies.

His sophomore project “Still Ghetto” released in 2003 achieved platinum success as well thus becoming Jaheim best selling record, it spawned the hit singles “Fabulous” featuring Tha’Rayne and “Put That Woman First”.

Now after five albums, Jaheim dubbed the “R&B thug” is finally back and let’s hope for the still-smooth Casanova that his talent and music will fulfill the R&B and Soul need of all of his fans.
