Perhaps the August and December rumors of Will and Jada Smith’s divorce were true, despite the couple’s denial. Pinkett allegedly met with prominent divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, according to “In Touch Weekly.”
A source told the publication that Jada had “finally begun to take steps to dissolve their marriage,” which purportedly was caused by the couple’s kids, Jaden and Willow.
Will’s wife of 13 years also supposedly turned down a role in the first movie directed by Keanu Reeves to spend time with her children during the “difficult time.”
Rumors first arouse in August that the fresh prince and Pinkett had separated, in December “Star” magazine reported “They’re still keeping up appearances because they worry divorce could hurt their careers, but there’s no turning back now. It needs to end. They’ve been trying to work through it, but things came to a head in early November, when they got into a huge knock-down, drag-out fight. They put up a good front in public, but behind closed doors they really fight like cats and dogs.”
Wasser has previously represented ten celebrities during their divorces, including the likes of Maria Shriver, Kim Kardasian, and Britney Spears.
