Jackson Art Estate

Michael Jackson’s art collection, reportedly worth over $900 million, could be snagged by an unknown businessman for a bid of just under $90 million. The previously secret portfolio supposedly contains rare drawings, paintings, portraits of the artists, and even a JFK presidential rocking chair. According to Radar Online, in 2008 Michael’s business manager, Dr. Tohme Tohme, allegedly wrote a letter to Brett-Livingston Strong, an Australian artist and former friend, giving the King of Pop’s art away for free. However, lawyers for the man behind ‘Billie Jean’ and ‘Thriller’ dispute the stake, citing the letter’s lack of MJ’s signature or initials. A legal fiasco, reminiscent of the one following the moon walker’s death, over the 182-piece assemblage will likely linger on for months. By David Woodson
