One can only respect Gwen Stefani, who just donated $1 million towards the “Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund.” She’s following the good deeds of Sandra Bullock who gave her million to the Red Cross.
Gwen Stefani expressed her love for the country. Reminiscing her Harajuku Girls phase, she said “I’ve been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help… I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years.”
She’s not stopping there either. Gwen is also offering a limited edition Harajuku Lovers T-shirt on the official No Doubt site. All the money made off the T-shirt will go towards relief efforts.
