Lady Gaga has landed in the number one spot on Forbes Magazine annual list of the world’s most powerful celebrities, a spot previously held by media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
Gaga beat out powerhouse celebs like U2, Elton John and Bon Jovi for the spot. For a singer who has only been out a few years, it’s a pretty amazing feat. Other relatively new celebs that landed on the list include Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
The “Born This Way” singer has been on a steady climb to the top since her debut, “The Fame,” in 2008. She has sold out concerts across the globe, racked up hundreds of awards, including five Grammys, and accumulated more than 10 million followers on Twitter.
