Frank Ocean’s “channel Orange” debuts at number two

Frank Ocean’s debut studio album “channel Orange” has taken the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite a one week early iTunes release on July 10 and a subsequent refusal to sell by the “Target” store chain, the Odd Future crooner’s first album sold 131,000 copies in its first week. Ocean may see even more sales this week with the physical release of the LP on July 17.

In related news, Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator collaborated with Ocean on the “channel Orange” bonus track “Golden Girl.” Listen below.
