Roger Federer made a bit of a blunder live on Brazilian television. The tennis player was given a Seleçao jersey signed by local superstar Neymar. Judging from his reaction, the Swiss player had no idea who the Brazilian prodigy was.
Slightly taken aback, Federer asked: « Neymar? Is he any good? ». Sensing a sudden unease, he then tried to make up for it by explaining that for him: “Brazil has always had the best team in the world”.
Yikes, that almost turned into a national tragedy.
