Drake & Al Pacino

Former sitcom star Drake is rumored to act in the film, “Arbitrage,” according to TheWrap. The Canadian hip-hop artist has been in several smaller roles. However in this financial thriller, Drake will be alongside Oscar winners Al Pacino, Susan Sarandon and Eva Green. The indie film is written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki, who also directed the 2005 documentary, “The Outsider.” This film captures the story of a hedge fund magnate who is desperately trying to complete the sale of his trading empire with a major bank before his fraudulent scheme is known. Production for the film is scheduled to begin this March in New York City.

The “Degrassi: The Next Generation” star is making his second appearance on the big screen. His small role in “Charlie Bartlett” being the first. Along with his film career, Drake has also successfully debuted his first studio album, “Thank Me Later,” which stood at the top of Billboard 200 in June 2010. The album went platinum.
