Dr. Dre is set for two very personal exposes about his life and career – his mother (Verna Griffin) and longtime friend (Bruce Williams) are releasing books in 2008.
In her upcoming book “Long Road Outta Compton,” Verna Griffin documents her struggle from rags to riches, thanking Dr. Dre for turning her life around. The 58-year-old tells how she went from digging in the sofa in hope of finding coins to living in a multi-million dollar house and receiving a regular income courtesy of her Grammy-winning son
Dre’s former right-hand man Bruce Williams has revealed he’ll expose everything about the rap icon’s dealings with Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight, Eminem, 50 Cent and The Game. His book, “Rollin’ With Dre,” will hit book stores at the end of March.
Williams says, “I’m going to blow the top off everything I saw.”
