West Coast rapper Dr. Dre recently announced that his new single, “Under Pressure,” featuring rapper Jay-Z, will hit the airwaves this month but he’s working to push it in a few weeks.
For “Detox,” the highly anticipated album that has been pushed back for years now, Dre wanted Jay-Z to contribute. “Back in October, Jay had been writing something for Detox. “Under Pressure” it’s so fitting,” said Dre during an interview.
It has been 11 years since Dre last released an album, and he has stated that “Detox” will be his final. Whether it’s true or not, he is now ready to give fans what they’ve been waiting for. “I’m definitely gonna be putting out the album this year. Finally, I think everyone is going to be happy with it,” said Dre.
