Nadia Nakai was formerly signed under Sid Records. The record label is owned by former YoTV presenter Psyfo.

 

Nadia is the first female rapper to ever win the Shiz Niz Mixtape 101 competition on eTV.

 

She used to be a judge on SABC 1’s hip hop show called Battle Stations.

 

Nadia revealed that, aside from music, she enjoys baking and that she’s pretty good at it.

 

Her dad is South African and her mom is Zimbabwean.

 

VIC MENSA

 

Even though they went to different schools, Vic Mensa met Chance The Rapper when he was a high school freshman. 

 

Vic Mensa was born Victor Kwesi Mensah, in Chicago, June 6, 1993.

 

Kids These Days was Vic Mensa’s first band which he Formed in 2009. They played Lollapalooza and ‘Conan,’ and released their debut EP, ‘Hard Times,’ in 2011.

 

Vic Mensa is a member of XXL’s 2014 Freshman Class. The previous freshmen have included Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore and Danny Brown. 

 

Two of Vic’s singles have stirred numerous controversies, one accusing him of domestic violence and the other speculating him as a gay man.
