Chris Brown is ready for a comeback. He’s been putting on shows, making guest appearances on tracks with T.I., Twista and Big Sean, and he’s released hit singles like “Deuces” and “No BS,” which is currently number one on the US R&B charts. Now, he’s gearing up for the release of his first major label album in two years, “F.A.M.E.,” slated to drop March 22 via Jive Records.
Although an official track list hasn’t been confirmed, C. Breezy’s fourth studio album is rumored to feature guest appearances from Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Asher Roth. There is also word that “F.A.M.E.” may be a double disc album.
Since he pled guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend, pop superstar Rihanna, back in 2009, Breezy has been working hard to get back in the public’s good graces. He’s showed tremendous dedication to his fans by throwing a fan appreciation tour, posting regular behind-the-scene type videos of his art, style and life on ‘Mechanical Dummy’, and holding contests for his Team Breezy crew.
But the question remains: Will he be as big as he was pre-Chrihannagate, when he was selling millions records, performing sold-out shows, and starring in hit movies? Only time will tell, but judging from the success of his latest singles, including the recently released “Look At Me Now,” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, it looks like Breezy’s comeback is already in full effect.
