It’s been a week full of ups and downs for Chris Brown. The R&B crooner, who has become a fixture on blogs and television lately as he promotes his new album, “F.A.M.E.,” exploded on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Tuesday, March 21, after being asked questions about his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
After the interview, Brown allegedly smashed a window and stormed out of ABC’s studios in New York shirtless.
That same day, ABC released a statement defending the interview, saying: “As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown.”
Brown later apologized for the outburst. ABC has no plans to press charges against Brown and the incident didn’t stop his fans from buying his album. According to Billboard.com, “F.A.M.E.,” Brown’s fourth album, is on track to sell more than 250,000 copies in its first week and will land in the number one position on Billboard’s charts.
The video for his new collaboration with Keri Hilson on the single “One Night Stand,” from her latest album, No Boys Allowed,” also premiered this week. Check it out:
