Chris Brown

R&B singer Chris Brown surprised fans at Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour in Virginia Beach on Sunday, August, 2 by filling in two days after rapper Drake seriously injured his knee at a show in New Jersey during a spin move.

In his first surprise appearance onstage since pleading guilty to assaulting his ex- girlfriend R&B songstress Rihanna in February at a pre –Grammy party, Brown joined Weezy on stage by lending his voice to the hook of “Every Girl” and then ripped the stage by doing a tribute to the “King of Pop” by Moonwalking on “Billie Jean”.

The visit also marked Brown’s first public appearance since he apologized to Rihanna via video on July 20 for assaulting her.

At press time, it was unclear if Brown will be replacing Drake on the tour, which is scheduled to last through August 23.

In related news Brown is set to sit down with Larry King Live after his sentencing on Wednesday, August 5 for his first televised interview since his assault on Rihanna. According to data released on Wednesday, July 29, Brown’s over a year old song “Forever” is now on iTunes’ top 10 songs list.

Nevertheless Brown’s return to the top may just be what the singer needs to get back to the prominence he held prior to his February battery incident.
