Chris Brown has released the first official single off of his upcoming “Graffiti” album. This is the first song the singer has released since his February attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The episode turned the squeaky-clean teen idol into America’s most hated pop-star, but luckily for Chris, Kanye swooped down just in time to take over the reins.
“I Can Transform Ya” was debuted on Brown’s MechanicalDummy.com website and features Lil’ Wayne and Swizz Beatz. The well-themed song (complete with robotic guitar strums and drum beats) is an up-tempo track that is an interesting concoction of equal parts rock, rap and pop. Likely a song that will receive decent club rotation, “I Can Transform Ya” sounds different than anything we’ve heard from producer Swizz Beatz or Brown thus far.
Brown is also scheduled for his first performance since the Rihanna incident. He will perform on October 27th at New Jersey’s Izod Center for Power105’s Powerhouse concert.
