Chris Brown

Headlining a show packed with performances by artists like Keri Hilson, Fabolous, The Dream, Mario and Ginuwine; R&B singer Chris Brown is set to make his return to the stage at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse 09 concert on Tuesday, October 27, in East Rutherford, NJ.

Months after pleading guilty to assaulting his ex- girlfriend pop princess Rihanna and days after beginning his community service in his home state of Virginia as part of his probation deal, the embattled Brown is finally moving forward with his music career.

Reports have said that the concert will give Brown a chance to promote his new single, “Transformer,” off his new album, “Graffiti”.

At press time it is unclear whether Brown will be given permission from either the Los Angeles court or the Virginia officials who are both overseeing his probation’s case.

On related news according to hit maker and music producer Swizz Beatz, Brown has a lot to prove as a musician. “He’s got something to prove. He worked on 60, 70 songs,” Beatz said. “I told him, Listen, man, just stay focused on your music. They gonna throw shots at you. Time heals everything. He has great support; his mother is amazing.”

A video for “Transformer” featuring Lil Wayne will be released ahead of Brown’s forthcoming third album “Graffiti”.

An official release date for Graffiti has yet to be confirmed.
