Sweet revenge for Caster Semenya! The 800 meter champion of the world will be South Africa’s flag bearer. In 2009, Caster was at the center of a sporting scandal for being, let’s say, a little too masculine.
But that’s all in the past now that Caster is Champion of the World! She will now lead the 125 strong South African team to the London Olympics. Let’s hope they fare better than in 2008. Back then South Africa picked up only one medal, and a silver at that.
