R&B songbird Brandy Norwood, 30, who won a Grammy for the song “The Boy is Mine,” has reached a settlement with the two children of the woman killed in a December 2006 car accident.

No criminal charges were filed against the Moesha star but Awatef Aboudihaj’s two children will receive $300,000 each following the death of their mother after her car was struck in the rear by Brandy’s Range Rover on a Los Angeles freeway.

“It was a situation that changed my life forever,” Norwood said about the accident.

However, the victim’s husband Marouane Hdidou has declined a $1.2 million settlement.
