International super group, The Black Eyed Peas, made an announcement of the release of their new album, “The Beginning,” on November 30, 2010, with Interscope Records.
“[The “Beginning”] refers to what is actually happening in the world right now,” will.i.Am said.
According to the group’s official website, a follow up to their sixth album, “The Beginning” already has a single posted online for listening. Titled “The Time (Dirty Bit),” which uses a sample from the classic 1987 theme from the film, “Dirty Dancing,” the Black Eyed Peas already shot a video for the single with director Rich Lee. He has filmed other videos for the group such as hit “Imma Be.” The single will be available for digital purchase on November 9.
“The Beginning” will be available in various formats. The group will be releasing a standard CD, a deluxe CD that includes 3 bonus songs, a full album vinyl, and a combo two-disc set of 20 songs. This combo will include the “Beginning” and “The Best of The E.N.D.” It will also be available for online purchase.
Currently finishing up their 2010 World Tour for “The E.N.D,” the Black Eyed Peas released this blockbuster album sold over 11 million copies and was placed on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart for 52 weeks.
“This album is the beginning of a new era of Pea world domination – fasten your seat belts pea-ple enjoy the ride,” Taboo said.
