Black Eyed Peas

After setting the mood with their futuristic electro hip-hop album “The E.N.D.,” the Black Eyed Peas are about to start a visual revolution! Indeed, the band will soon be starring in a 3-D tour movie directed by “Avatar” creator James Cameron. “We have the biggest director because we are the biggest group on the planet,” humbly said will.i.am in a recent interview with Vibe magazine.

The movie will follow the Peas during their tour dates in South America, and should be based on the adventures of will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo and apl.de.ap. After the success of late Michael Jackson’s concert film “This Is It” and 3-D movie triumph “Avatar,” this ambitious project has obviously a great potential. “There will be a storyline that Cameron came up with, which will be dope,” said will.i.am.

The movie is set for an early next year release: “People will be able to see us in the theater with the 3-D glasses and everything…” confirmed will.i.am, who always likes to tease the fans. Even though the project remains a little vague, the endless energy of the Peas combined with the genius of Cameron is definitely promising. At Trace, we gotta feeling that Fergie and friends will rock the box office like they rock the charts, so stay tuned!
