Beyoncé & Kelly Rowland

Destiny’s Child sisters Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland are both preparing to drop new albums and recently released the title of those projects.

Beyoncé will be naming her fourth solo album 4, while Rowland will name her third solo effort Here I Am.

About her album, which is expected to drop this summer, Beyoncé told JustJared.com: “I wanted to do something refreshing and different. So I mixed genres and drew inspiration from touring, traveling, watching rock bands, and attending festivals… I was like a mad scientist, putting lots of different songs together.”

The lead single off the album is the much-hyped, “Run the World (Girls).” The full-length video to that will be dropping soon.

Rowland has no release date yet for her upcoming project, but she is expected to announce a fall release date soon. About her album’s title, she told Billboard: “I wanted people to know that this is the record, the sound I¹ve been working toward… that here I am…. It just connected with my heart and the music as well. It stands for everything I’ve gone through and thought about for this record as a woman. It’s very strong.”

The first single off Rowland’s album, “Motivation,” featuring Lil Wayne is currently burning up the charts and currently holds the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
