B.o.B

Bobby Ray, a.k.a B.o.B. has announced that he is working on his sophomore album. In March he already announced that this new album will feature sounds his audience might not expect. B.o.B is working with producer Jim Jonsin again, who told Rap-Up.com that one record has a reggae vibe to it.

B.o.B spoke to Detroit’s MLive.com recently, saying that he is “really excited about this one.” B.o.B. took the music industry by storm last year with his breakthrough album “The Adventures of Bobby Ray” which topped the charts. The album spawned 3 platinum selling singles. “Nothin On You” ft Bruno Mars, “Airplanes” ft Hayley Williams of Paramore and “Magic,” ft Weezer’s lead singer Rivers Cuomo.

Jim Jonsin said B.o.B’s new album won’t have as many features. “While his debut may have been jam-packed with features, don’t expect too many guests this time around. “I don’t think he’s doing as many features. I think most of his singles will be him and he just wants the fans to hear a lot more of him on this album. It’s gonna be incredible.”

B.o.B is currently on tour with Rihanna. The new album has no release date, but B.o.B. stated that he is taking his time over his second release as he strives for perfection. He anticipates “performing” tracks in front of a live audience.
